Your first visit is a chance to understand what is happening with your teeth and decide on the next step. You might have one painful tooth, several concerns or simply be returning after a long gap. You do not need to know which treatment to ask for before you come.
We are not open yet and are not taking appointments. You are welcome to message us with general questions.

Before you come
When you enquire, tell the team your main concern and whether you are in pain. Mention anything that may make the visit difficult, such as dental anxiety or a previous experience. Ask about the consultation fee and what it includes.
Have a list of your medicines, allergies and relevant medical conditions ready. If you have recent X-rays or dental records, ask the team how to share them. There is no need to send a detailed medical history in your first message.

At the appointment
We begin with what has brought you in and any questions you want answered. Your dentist will explain the assessment and discuss an examination with you. If X-rays or other investigations are recommended, we explain what information they would provide and any additional cost.

Making sense of the findings
Once we have enough information, we explain what we have found in plain language. You can ask to see the relevant images, which concerns need attention sooner and what the alternatives involve. If you need several treatments, a staged plan can help you understand the order and purpose of each visit.

Talking about costs
Before you agree to treatment, ask for the expected cost, what is included and what might change the estimate. We discuss the available options with your priorities and budget in mind. Some decisions need further records or assessment before the plan and fees can be confirmed.

Will I have treatment on the first day?
That depends on the assessment, the care needed, the time available and what you agree to. Some visits lead to a treatment appointment later; others may include care on the day. An enquiry does not reserve time for a particular procedure, so discuss your concern with the team when arranging the visit.

Before you leave
Make sure you understand the next step: whether anything needs attention promptly, whether another visit or referral is needed, and whom to contact if you have a question. You can ask us to go over any part of the plan again.
